Miriam Sandum Næss

Miriam Sandum Næss is in her final year at Griffith College in Dublin where she studies BA in Journalism and Visual Media. She is also an Intern at Toonari Post.

 

        Her electives at Griffith College are shorthand, online journalism, business journalism, advanced investigative journalism, conflict reporting and shorthand writing. She has written for the school magazine Griffiti. She also is a part of a new magazine published at Griffith College coming out in March.

 

Miriam Sandum Næss has also studied Journalism in Norway for two years at Norges Kreative Fagskole.  Before NKF she went to Skjeberg Folkehøyskole (read about Folkehøyskole from Wikipedia here) where she studied newspaper production and online journalism.

 

She has worked with InDesign, Photoshop, Mac OS X, Windows and Wordpress.

 

She is especially interested in feature, investigative and conflict journalism.  

 

Beside journalism she has worked with special needs persons back in Norway. Where  she began her interest to speak for people who cant speak for them self.
